Storm Chase Team

Getting as close as possible to a tornado may not sound ideal to many people, but our storm chase team can’t imagine a better way to learn about and observe severe weather. Our team consists of two important components.

When severe weather strikes members travel up and down tornado alley to get the best view. Each member is educated about forecasting severe weather and safety before a chase.

The chase wouldn't be possible without a base team in Columbia monitoring the scene, and steering the chasers to the most likely spots for severe weather.
