General Discussion : A recent cold frontal passage is bringing cooler air behind it causing more seasonal temperatures (62 High). The clear conditions will subside Saturday with rain chances later in the day.

Technical Discussion : An upper level low came through our area bringing a Quasi Linear Convective System (QLCS) with it. The QLCS will help drought ridden areas and lower fire risk. The CAA will be hand in hand with high pressure until we head into Saturday. Subsidence with the high will help shed our clouds today. The cold fropa, behind the QLCS, and associated CAA ushered in gustier and cooler conditions to more seasonal temperatures (Avg High 62). Friday will be similar in conditions as Thursday with calmer wind and drier conditions. Return to southwesterly flow Saturday encourages vorticity, OMEGA, and moisture return. A strengthening low-level jet will aid in rain chances and moisture transport. Future shifts should monitor precipitation timing and amounts heading into late Saturday and Sunday.
